A winged kingly figure seated in a chariot drawn by a bull. He bears as a crest the symbol of the head of a winged bull. Beneath the chariot is land with many flowers. In one hand he bears an orb of gold held downwards, and in the other a sceptre surmounted by an orb and cross.
Increase of matter, increase of good and evil, solidifies, practically applies things, steady, reliable. If ill-dignified, animal, material, stupid. In either slow to anger, but furious if roused. Rules from 20° Aries to 20° of Taurus.

The figure calls for no special description the face is rather dark, suggesting also courage, but somewhat lethargic in tendency. The bull's head should be noted as a recurrent symbol on the throne. The sign of this suit is represented throughout as engraved or blazoned with the pentagram, typifying the correspondence of the four elements in human nature (= coin) and that by which they may be governed (= pentacle). In many old Tarot packs this suit stood for current coin, money, deniers. I have not invented the substitution of pentacles and I have no special cause to sustain in respect of the alternative. But the consensus of divinatory meanings is on the side of some change, because the cards (of Pentacles) do not happen to deal especially with questions of money.

Valour, realizing intelligence, business and normal intellectual aptitude, sometimes mathematical gifts and attainments of this kind; success in these paths.

小 1 から貯めた 6000 万円を寄付した正体不明の男性

先日神奈川県横須賀市で市に対し、70～80 代の正体不明の男性が小 1 から貯めた貯金 6000 万円を寄付したという。出たカードは剣の 4 逆位置。霊安室に安置された棺があり、蓋には祈る騎士の立派な彫像が施されている。出窓のステンドグラスには子供が聖母にひざまづき手を合わせる姿が描かれている。一瞬、不思議なカードが出たように思った。いずれにしても、6000 万円を手放すような気持となる何らかの出来事がこの男性にあったようだ。剣は、トラブル、悲しみ、病気、死などネガティブな要素が強いカードだ。この人は年齢からいって大病か、いずれにしても体力と気力をかなり消耗するような体験があったと思われる。棺の祈る騎士とステンドグラスのひざまづく子供はこの男性を表しており、この体験を通じて心境にも大きな変化があったことを表しているようだ。カードが逆位置なので、（完全ではないかもしれないが）一通りの回復を迎えたことを示している。その回復を機に身辺整理を始め、その一環として貯金の寄付を行なったのではないか。男性が回復を天に感謝し、“霊安室”の状態から出て、市役所を訪れ「何かの役に立ててください、寄付します」と言った姿がステンドグラスに描かれ美しい形で昇華されている。

ブログ記事のメンテナンス

このブログに移転したのは、旧ブログで私個人の日記やメモや抜き書きのような記事がいつの間にやら膨大な数になり収拾がつかなくなったので、心機一転して「バニラのタロット占い」という形で基本的にタロットにテーマを絞ってブログを再構築しようと思ったから。昨年末から旧ブログとこのブログの合わせて 4000 件以上の記事を整理してきたが、一通り整理し終えて燃え尽きた感じになってしまった。そこで、今後の方針を指し示す「羅針盤カード」として 1 枚引いた。出たのは「 XIV. 中庸」天使が左手のカップから右手のカップに水を移し変えている様子は、これまでの私自身の旧ブログから新ブログへの移行作業そのものを示している。遠景に見えている向こう山の光とそこへと続く直線の道が、今後の私の道程を示しているのだろう。しばらく、光（新境地）へと到る道程は続きそうである。

DaiGo【改めて謝罪】

メンタリストの DaiGo さんという人が生活保護の人を批判して、世間から非難され、その謝罪をした動画を見た。それに関して 1 枚引いたところ、貨の A の正位置だった。面白半分で軽はずみな発言に及んでしまったようだが、社会に対してこのようにきちんとした謝罪をしており、34 歳という年齢からしても伸びしろがある人ということなのではないかと思った。慚愧という言葉がある。彼が自分自身に対して恥かしい、と、どの位感じたかという「慚」については分からないが、世間に対して自分がなした過ちを恥じているという「愧」については形に表している。猛烈な批判の嵐に遭い、自分の誤りを完全に認めて謝罪する勇気を起こせたのも、彼の周りには大切な善き家族が大勢いるからかも知れない。また、人生、何があっても明日という日が与えられている、という展開を表しているともいえる。ちなみに、極悪前科を語る小山田圭吾氏には、貨の A の逆位置が出ていた。自分で変化を起こせる明日という日を生かすことなく過ごすと、いつかそれ相応のつけが回ってくるという事例といえそうだ。
