Higher soul of man ; woman clothed with the sun ; she who is born of aspiration, who comes in the signs of power and perfect rule ; the soul that has attained wings.

“The Tarot Trumps”

She is an aspect of Isis; the creative and positive side of Nature is suggested here. The Egyption trilogy, Isis, Hathor and Nenhthys, symbolised by the crescent, full moon, and gibbous moon are represented in the Tarot by the High Priestess, Hathor. The Empress, Isis, takes either the crescent moon or Venus as her symbol. Justice, Nephthys, takes the gibbous moon.
Isis and Venus gives the aspect of Love, while Hathor is rather the Mystic, the full moon reflecting the Sun of Tiphareth while in Yesod, transmitting the rays of the Sun in her path Gimel. In interpreting a practical Tarot it is often admissable to regard the Empress as standing for Occultism. The High Priestess for religion, the Church as distinguished from the Order.
The Empress, whose letter is Daleth, is the Door of the inner mysteries, as Venus is the door of the Vault. Her colours are emerald, sky-blue, blue-green and cerise or rose-pink.

A stately figure, seated, having rich vestments and royal aspect, as of a daughter of heaven and earth. Her diadem is of twelve stars, gathered in a cluster. The symbol of Venus is on the shield which rests near her. A field of corn is ripening in front of her, and beyond there is a fall of water. The sceptre which she bears is surmounted by the globe of this world. She is the inferior Garden of Eden, the Earthly Paradise, all that is symbolized by the visible house of man. She is not Regina coeli (Queen of Heaven), but she is still refugium peccatorum (Refuge of Sinners), the fruitful mother of thousands. There are also certain aspects in which she has been correctly described as desire and the wings thereof, as the woman clothed with the sun, as Gloria Mundi (Glory of the World) and the veil of the Sanctum Sanctorum (Holy of Holies); but she is not, I may add, the soul that has attained wings, unless all the symbolism is counted up another and unusual way. She is above all things universal fecundity and the outer sense of the Word. This is obvious, because there is no direct message which has been given to man, like that which is borne by woman; but she does not herself carry its interpretation.

In another order of ideas, the card of the Empress signifies the door or gate by which an entrance is obtained into this life, as into the Garden of Venus; and then the way which leads out therefrom, into that which is beyond, is the secret known to the High Priestess: it is communicated by her to the elect. Most old attributions of this card are completely wrong on the symbolism—as, for example, its identification with the Word, Divine Nature, the Triad, and so forth.

庭を通り抜けようとした母子熊が 17 才少女によって素手で撃退

南カリフォルニアで、民家を通り抜けようとした母子熊と飼い犬が遭遇。愛犬を助けるために無我夢中で母グマを素手で撃退した 17 才の少女の動画が公開された。この出来事を 1 枚引きで分析してみると、 杖の 6 の逆位置が出た。 晴天 の下、 月桂冠のリース を杖の先にくくり付けて手に持ち、頭にも 月桂冠 を被り 馬 にまたがった人が、胸を張り堂々と徒歩の人々と共に行進している。 杖の 6 のテーマは「勝利」、キーワードの筆頭にも「闘争の後の勝利」とある。 行進する馬上の人は子熊を連れた母熊であろう。少女に撃退されたので逆位置となったわけである。勝利のシンボル月桂冠と言えば、アポロン神で、彼の恋した女神ダプネーは月桂冠の人格化である。そして、アポロンの同腹の姉または妹である、狩人の女神アルテミスは熊との結び付きが深い。アルテミスの女従者カリストーはアルテミス自身の分身であるとも考えられるが、雌熊である。 母子熊の側から見れば行進が妨げられたことを表わしているのだろうし、少女の側から見ればあまり感心できない危険な行為だったとも言える。

休養していた江頭 2:50 全身金粉姿で「完全復活」

休養していた江頭 2:50 が 涙の復帰発表！ を果たした。病名は依然、秘したまま。しかし、一応「完全復活」らしい。これについては、最後の審判の正位置が出た。 青空 の上から大きな 翼の大天使 がラッパを吹き鳴らし、 氷河 に浮かんだ 棺桶 から蘇えった人々が、思わず手を上げ、驚きや賛嘆の面持ちで天使を見上げている。 出た瞬間、私自身もちょっと驚いた。 復帰発表のコメントは決して大袈裟ではなく、彼は本当に生まれ変わったらしい。 江頭は、ラッパを吹く大天使でもあり、棺桶から蘇える人でもあり、一人二役で登場しているようで、そこにも彼らしさが出ているようだ。 彼が「正直、この回復の早さは医者もビビってる！　みんなの熱い想いに、病気もビビったみたいだな。お前らのおかげだ！　ありがとう！」と何度も感謝の意を込めラッパを吹いている様子が出ている。 そして、医者も、病気も、私たちも、そんな彼の偉業を驚き唖然と見つめ、称えているという──氷河ツアーを体験しているかのような感動を覚えているところなのかも知れない。 気になるところは、依然秘したままの病名なのだが、本人の意向でもあるので、たとえ占いとはいえ書いていいものか戸惑いがあるが、最後の審判は精神的な意識の変化の意味合いが強いカードなので、深田恭子よりも深刻な適応障害とか鬱病などの精神的な病だったのかも知れない。 後出しのようで何だが、江頭が入院休養発表した際に病気に関して占っていたのだが、その時は公開はしなかった。今回は目出度く完全復活したので、改めて公開する。 病名を明かさず療養中の江頭 2:50 について、貨の 10 正位置が出た。 立派な屋敷の庭先に 夫婦 と 子供 と 犬 が 2 匹、手前には腰掛けた 上品な老人 がおり犬の頭を撫でている。 なんだか人生の終着地点のようなカードが出たので戸惑いがあるが──回復の可能性の少ない病なのか…治療の難しい病なのか… 手前の上品な老人が本人であり、屋敷、犬、夫婦や子供は彼の（所属事務所の人たちかも知れない）身内や現在の生活状態を表している。 貨は四大元素の地を司っており肉体に直結し、彼が肉体と同時に精神も極限的に酷使する芸を生業としてきたことを示し、その最終番号 10 ということは、それが行きつくところまで来た...

『グランド・イリュージョン 』

2013 年のアメリカ映画『 グランド・イリュージョン 』（原題 “ Now You See Me ”）は、 フォー・ホースメン と呼ばれる 4 人組のマジシャンがショーの中で銀行強盗をする映画だ。 4 人はアイ（The Eye）と呼ばれる人物から、タロットカードの招待状を受け取り集められるのだが、4 人はそれぞれ各自に相応しいカードを受け取る。 ダニエル・アトラスは、コントロール・フリークと呼ばれたりして、高慢な奇術師で、ストリート・マジシャン。表向きのホースメンのリーダー。彼は「 恋人たち 」を受け取る。 メリット・マッキーニーは、催眠術師、メンタリスト、自称超能力者。若いときはもっと有名だったが、マネージャーだった兄に稼いだ全財産を持ち逃げされ、その後は過去の栄光を背負って細々と行脚する生活をしている。彼は「 隠者 」と受け取る。 ヘンリー・リーブスは、エスケイプニスト（脱出術）、ステージ・マジシャン、ダニエル・アトラスの元アシスタント。ダニーに密かに思いを寄せている。彼女は「 女司祭長 」を受け取る。 ジャック・ワイルダーは、手先の器用な奇術師、ストリート・マジシャン。他人の声音を真似る才能もある。またスリでもあり、錠をこじ開けることができる。彼は「 死 」を受け取る。 アイは「 愚者 」として描かれ、最後に誰なのか判明する。 タロット好きにとっては、より面白く観れる映画かも知れない。 また、アメリカ映画となっているが、フランス人監督の作品なので、その変も一味違う感じで良い。
